Alchemy vs JC...

I didn't find any thread about this,so i wanted to ask.

I have Alchemy on 1 of my characters,and i've never used JC,so my question is,which one of these professions make more gold ?

Any help would be appreciated.

I would go for JC. I used to make 3k gold for 2h of, not so hard, work but I'm not one of those super gold makers

JC requires a lot more activity and you have to invest a lot to make any gold. You have to invest a lot into uncut gems and the JC designs. While Alchemy can make you at least 100gold per day with just 1 click of a button.

It also depends a lot on your server. On my server JC was king in BC... I would make about 5-10k gold per day with minimal effort. Now, 90% of my JC auctions expire because I don't scan and re-post my auctions the second I see somebody undercut me and also partly because the majority of the server population either has a JC alt or a JC (guildie) that will give them free cuts they want.
