That's what people keep failing to see. Ensidia (rightly) forced Blizzard to ban Exodus from the game. They lost the moral ground to complain about future bans.
What about it ? Teams complaining about other teams with every opportunity if they will get an advantage. They don't win a cookie.
There are many things we don't know that could lead in a permaban when in history of (wow) gaming, permabans aren't given so lightly for boss kills (for obvious reasons).

Teams cheat constantly even infront of referee's eyes. It's up to him (blizzard) to decide if he will give a sentence or not and how big.

I was talking as a moral issue. Ensidia was the focus of morality after they denounced Exodus.

Armory still marks Ensidia participants of the encounter for: "1 Victories over the Lich King (Icecrown 25 player) on 04-Feb-2010". So maybe the decision to remove the achievements and looted items such as Fal'inrush, Defender of Quel'thalas, which in fact is still in Calebv's hands, was not final?

Ensidia officially has no credibility, not like they had any before rofl. They got what they deserved

Re: Ensidia suspended for 72 Hours

Just because Blizzard had a bugged fight doesn't mean Ensidia has to exploit it.

    :P

That exploiting. Not matter what. So if a bank robbed dropped a few thousand dollars in a dump to get away from the cops and you find it, means you keep it because you found it?

Cops are gonna go. Shoulda turned it in, as they handcuff you.

Ensidia got caught exploiting. And they admitted to knowing when the bug happened they can ignore phases of the fight. Making it a "Move out of Void Zones." deal.

Thats exploiting. No matter how you try to spin it. Sorry Fellas.

Only because theres a bug and u keep fighting the encounter doesnt mean u exploit. Theres no way you can see that bombs would cause it, even tho alot other guilds admitted they had the same bug and didnt know what it caused aswell.
For a guild like this there isnt time to write a ticket and wait 2 days to get an answer because then simply another guild kills it and as weve seen even 4 others killed it. Its ashame that Blizzard watched it and didnt do shit until they killed it. 20 minutes after a kill you upload a hotfix and ban the one killing the boss with a bug? You better admit the mistake in the encounter, reset the encounter and let them play with their 10 trys left.

It's Blizzard's fault for leaving the bug in the game. They have no right to suspend accounts for something that they completely missed. All of you retards who are saying they cheated should put yourselves in their shoes. Imagine if you were getting close to killing him before any other guild in the world. Could you honestly say, "Let's stop now since something is wrong." knowing full well that someone else might get the kill? I highly doubt it. So quit making fools out of yourselves and quit posting flaming remarks to a guild who is 100 times better than you. Once again, gratz Ensidia on your world first kill and good luck in Cataclysm. true only if you choose to ignore the bug and keep playing the way it's meant to be played (no ad intended - ATI powered ^^ ).
had they kept on killing valkyrs, no one would give a shit. they did not. they noticed the floor was rebuilt and thus chose to ignore valkyrs. they knew things were not supposed to be played this way. THIS is an exploit, no matter how you cook it

you can't possibly swing the banhammer with the hand that had to push the red button.

Truth or not truth it's their game they can do whatever they want and they don't have to apologize for it. You pay, you agree. End of story.

I doubt there's a single player of wow who hasn’t used exploits, "cheats" or "clever game mechanics" in the past, either alone or participating indirectly in a group of people who used them and he didn't say a word.

We all used decursive, reset encounters and so many other things which blizzard marked as forbidden or now allows them.
We didn’t complain for that, don’t complain now. The moral values of each of us may be different but the result it’s the same.
Don't be surprised if a competitive team does the same in a more organized or sophisticated level.

The 'cheating' was actually a rogue who was just using saronite bombs, which is typical of someone with engineering to max their dps. you'd think Blizz would have enough people working on the game to catch things like that WAAAY before it becomes a problem. yeah its their game they can do what they want.. but when its their fault to begin with then they are out of line

No, the cheating was them claiming world first, and only coming clean AFTER Blizz hotfixed it. That'd be like going to court, saying you're innocent, when they find you guilty you say, "oh yeah, I did that." Then when you get imprisoned you get bitchy. There are things they could have, and should have done, still killed the Val'Kyr's, if they did that, Blizz probably would've just reset their encounter, and after they downed him, THEN sent in a ticket saying they found a bug that was causing the floor to rebuild. But no, they decide to post they killed him, then Blizz found out there was a bug and fixed it, then they finally come clean about it.

Once again, changing a string in a code could cause more bugs after it fixed one, stop trying to act like Ensidia is clean about this, they're the ones who decided to ignore a whole part of an encounter because the floor rebuilt from an "unknown cause."

Let's relate it to another real life example. Let's say, you are driving around in your car, suddenly there's a traffic light. The traffic light is on green, so you just keep on driving. Days later, you get a mail from whatever institution handles traffic violations in your territory with a fine for driving through a red light. Turns out the light was broken and was green while it should've been red.

    Would you call that justified?

That was one of the worst examples I've seen in this thread. They already did this fight in 10 man, they knew the floor was supposed to break down over time and wasn't in 25 man. So how does your example work at all. The light was green with no indentation of it even being red, while Ensidia had the floors breaking down and regenerating infront of them.

Tell me, have you been paying attention at all throughout this entire lovely internet drama series titled "Ensidia Down Blizzard World First" or did you just decide to post simply bcause everyone else was doing it.

Honestly, I dont see why people are still arguing over this. They will be unbanned tommarow. It's in the past, some one else 'officialy' scored world first. It doesn't matter anymore. ^^ It's not like blizzard will refund the achieves.

Then let's add this. Even if you weren't sure the light was supposed to be green, would you have stopped if there were other cars behind you with no intention of stopping at all?

stop trying to act like ensidia's the only one at fault here.
they were being watched and they knew it. to continue on your little court example, wouldn't you be bitchy if the police had been watching you the whole time, knew you were doing something wrong yet did NOTHING to stop you to only come after and say "hey guys, you did something wrong, here comes the banhammer".
ensuing a ticket was the way to go to avoid sanctions, but what's the point when there are admins watching you ? who is silent consents. you can't possibly swing the banhammer with the hand that had to push the red button, then call others "blatant exploiters" without looking like a blatant scrub
