Subject: World of Warcraft Account Management

Greetings An investigation of your World of Warcraft account has found strong evidence that the account in question is being sold or traded. As you may not be aware of, this conflicts with Blizzard's EULA under section 4 Paragraph B which can be found here: WoW -> Legal -> End User License Agreement and Section 8 of the Terms of Use found here: WoW -> Legal -> Terms of Use The investigation will be continued by Blizzard administration to determine the action to be taken against your account. If your account is found violating the EULA and Terms of Use, your account can, and will be suspended/closed/or terminated. In order to keep this from occurring, you should immediately verify that you are the original owner of the account. To verify your identity please visit the following webpage: Fakeblizzadminaddressthing Only Account Administration will be able to assist with account retrieval issues. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter, and your continued interest in World of Warcraft. Sincerely, Account Administration Blizzard Entertainment

I'm guessing my last post was deleted because I forgot about deleting the links, anyway same again had this email in my inbox for about 10 different addresses. I'm guessing this is the worst case and some moron has hacked my email. What should I do?

So, someone sent that message from your email, is that correct? Sounds like a security compromise.
If I was a Blizz server technician, I'd hijack a server and use it to download porn 24/7. Guess why the instance servers always are full B]

That's what it looks like to me

I'm less worried about my wow account as I have an authenticator and more
worried about anything else in my inbox they could use :S
I've changed my password and started scanning etc, is there anything else I should be doing?

Scan your computer and reset all your passwords. If you did any online banking, they have that info too, so reset those passwords and make sure your statements and charges have not been compromised, even though most account numbers are not shown on online bank statements. Most keyloggers record keys based on certain criteria, such as wow.exe running and such, so you should be safe for the most part, but I wouldn't take any chances.

Your Authenticator is one of the best ways to protect your wow account, but is ultimately trivial compared to any tax info or bank info that may be on your computer.
