To start the "problem c.q. question". Im gonne tell you a story.

So, were still leveling new chars here in coldish northrend, and me and my friend are rocking uttergard keep.

He's a healer, i be the hunter. and what happends? this awesome cloth head drops, a MAJOR upgrade from the lowely level 66 leather TBC head. but mutchos QQ because you cannot need on gear that aint your designed armor proficiencies.

And there isnt even clothies in the party or they dont need these items.

is this designed to stop ninja'ing? or what?
Some leather items are upgrades to the hunter class over several mail items.

Im not a nub, i know that rogues and feral druids have prior over those leather items. And any clothie over the druid, but via crossreal or d/e option its impossible to win these leather/cloth items.

Any thoughts? ;D

Yeah, i get that, but it works so badly.
Wasting good gear that others might enjoy, alot. such a shame.

Any word on changing this? like - be able to need on 1 armor type lower?

As hunter(mail user) they should build in to be able to need on the leather item.

Blizz said they gonna reiterate on the loot distribution system of pugs. So we'll just have to wait and see.

Next timte just tell the ppl you would take the "helmet" if it drops, before u start the encounter. So no one klicks on disentchant and the item can be given to your friend.
