Got a question regarding my gear and what EnhSim is telling me and enhsim in general....

First off I know that I'm over the expertise cap, recently changed him from taurn to orc for the extra expertise so that I can get the 251 trink off of lady death and change it for the 232 expertise trink from 10ToC with out having to gem so much expertise. That excess expertise will be dropped once I replace that trinket

The sim gives me

First off enhsim says that my puppet can push 6188 dps, on a movement fight I see anywhere from 5.5k to 6k, not much higher, on a stand still tank and spank fight I can normally do around 7k sometimes as high as 7.7k (this is all in 10m I normally don’t run 25's when I do my dps generally sits around 6.5k for movement fights and 8 - 8.5k) these numbers are my Recount dps after the fight.

First question is, why is enhsim saying my dps is higher compared to my dps on movement rights, and lower compared to my dps on tank and spank fights?

Secondly I have been playing with the numbers a bit to see what stat I should push. Right now enhsim is saying that AP gives me more dps then haste.

I tested this by doing a straight 10% increase to my AP, leaving my haste at what it is at now, that gave me a number of 6333

I then ran the numbers by increasing the haste by 10% and leaving the AP at what my puppet has right now, that gave me a number of 6246

On the 3rd test I tried something a bit different, I increased the AP by 10% of the base AP, then lowered the haste by 10% of the base haste and came up with a number of 6366.

the next sim i used all haste gems except for 4 ap/haste gems, and 1 10stats gem. This put my enh sim dps up to 6314

On the last test I ran it by keeping the AP at the base number and lowering haste by 10% of base, which lowered my dps to 6151.

Please help me understand these numbers, and why they very so much

Also its been my general understanding that AP produces better dps/damage done on movement rights, and Haste produces better dps/damage done on tank and spank rights. Is this right?

So if I’m reading these numbers right I have to much haste and should regem some of my AP/Haste gems to AP.
