Lich King cinematic @ Dalaran Fountain

So i clicked this honor of the fallen and i got shown the Lich King cinematic?
Why?
Why isn't it just for those that have defeated the LK in ICC only?

Probably because 90% of the population will not see it until the zone buff is in place.
I have no problem with it.
People would just youtube it anyway.

I believe they said somewhere they don't like to put thing in the game that take a lot of work (Such as the cinematic) and almost no one see it.

While i think its cool that the statues there i think its just dumb to have the clip with the idea of "no one will see LK"

Maybe if it was BC with BT/SWP being impossible for some servers guilds.

yes someone on your realm has to kill him for the statue to be placed , and it's in the middle of dalaran instead of the fountain i think

It is in the fountain, 4 statues (2 Orcs 2 Humans) and then Tirion on top holding his Lightbringer high up in the air.

Technically, its just a sign that says, "bless these brave hero's who killed the Lich King" (something like that)

The cinematic could simply be your avatars Flashback to the killing the Lich King and knowing differently.

The fact that the phasing happens if you didn't kill the Lich King could be because of the Leak of the Video onto the internet, and the big secrete is out.

Well obviously the cinematic isn't loreful...

Not as if your gunna be reading a plaque when OMG THERE'S MOVING IMAGES ON THIS PLAQUE... BUT WE ON AZEROTH HAVENT EVEN MADE STILL-FRAME MOVIES YET!

It's just something we - as players - get to see. If you were walking through Dalaran IRL then the plaque would just be something saying 'Bless the fallen who died to rid the world of Arthas and his evil' or 'The evil Arthas is no more, this world is free' etc. etc.

It's like Tirion DVRed so his friends could all see how badass he is...except for the part where he says "Bolvar!" like a complete twat. The context of saying "Bolvar!" was like "Oh hey man...heard you got ambushed by an advanced plague of undeath and burned by epic dragon fire...but HEY BUDDDYYYYY!" and then he's like 'Holy shit what's wrong with your face!?"
