You said Elemental Shaman. You can't have enough Resilience.

But if you disagree, go for spellpower. All that matters is how much damage your Lava Burst does.

Gems were introduced to allow for specialization of gear - not in order to add a static number of a variable stat based off of your character's position in the "world".

While it is arguable that there are certain gems that are "mandatory" for maximization of PvE DPS output, that's just not the case for PvP. Specialize your gear in such a way that it benefits your playstyle, we can't tell you what will work best for you, you need to find that out yourself.

Stacking spell power gems is by far the best. with good gear you can get over 1k resil and even if you do use resil gems, there wont be a huge change. make sure u get hit capped and 100 spell pen as well though at one point in your gems.
