God, that anyone actually associates D&D with WotC is horrible in itself. The game was great before 3rd edition. Since then it's be given a heavy dose of downs syndrome. It isn't like WotC even MADE any of it, it was around for two decades before they took over production from TSR.Originally Posted by Nymrohd
The 3.5 Pathfinder edition (mind you, that's a conglomeration of TSR's original work on the 3E plus work by WotC and Paizo) is probably the golden standard for how to run a tabletop game now. And yes, they, WotC, did make it the more recent versions (2nd and up). TSR was part of WotC, and using their money to keep themselves afloat, before 2E even came out; WotC just eventually decided to pull the plug on the TSR brand name and just finally admit everything was coming from them by the time of 3E.Originally Posted by Zanathos

honestly, we don't really feel additional lag as our normal ping is 300+, but we do feel the sudden restarts and shutdowns right at our raid times.
Wouldn't it be easier to write which servers weren't going d... hey my realm will be up! Never mind!
3rd edition is pretty good in its own right. 4th edition is an abortion. A game system that severely limits choice AND makes things tedious and difficult for new players to understand? How much time and effort did THAT take?Originally Posted by Zanathos

This^^ 3.0/3.5 changed alot of things. No one can tell me they preferred to use negative armor class vs the 3/3.5/pathfinder system. The 3.0/.5 system is much more noob friendly as well. The skills system had some... issues and some of the feats were useless. The biggest issue 3.0/3.5 had/has is conflicts from book to book. BoVD would conflict with the DMs guild, the PHB and they would conflict with the MM3. Since Pathfinder took all of the rules and put it in one book there are little to no conflicts.Originally Posted by Tang

What the flipping heck was the thought process beyond 4th? It's less suitable for PC versions than 3rd, practically requires a board and most crucially is effectively another RPG with the same name.
Pathfinder, although I consider many of their changes sub-optimal, is where my path lies simply because they're supporting effectively D&D OGL/3.75. Wizards have repeatedly blotted their copybooks with the legal shenanigans surrounding the 4th edition GSL* and their pulling of the 3rd edition PDF's...

what is that for a strange batch? can please someone explain me whats the meaning of this? When the card whould be more expensive in a few month/years, why should i wait to buy it? thats dumb.....we can just assume that your Spectral Tiger card will be worth "the price of a small car on ebay" in a couple of years. However, if you're only interested in the mount, you might want to wait a little before you buy everything you can.
i want to buy the card, have won a auction. but that confused me. please help^^
