With the health buff, there's a good chance that you need gear from the other hardmodes to be able to dps him down in any reasonable amount of time.

So it may even be longer than any of us think.

Interesting to note that top guilds havnt even killed the 10 man version yet.

If the dps requirements are that high Paragon will learn the fight well enough on alts to drop a healer. 2 more resets at the absolute max.

When people execute a fight flawlessly you cant design content that will last longer than that unless it's a huge gear check or bugged to all hell.

11.4M/60(seconds) = 190,741 Raid DPS.

190,741/15(dpsers**) = 7316 individual dps.

So I'd say probably not very long; for top guilds anyway. I'd be surprised if its not done next reset.

I don't play this game anymore, so I'm just looking at numbers, don't really know anything about the fight.

* - I picked 9 minutes because that seems to be an average of kill times that I saw from a 30-seconds-or-so youtube search.

** - I picked 15 to give a 10 member leeway for tanks/healers. In reality I'm assuming you'd need less than 10 people in these spots, which would make my individual dps # even more reachable.

When people are within 1-2minutes of a 15minute enrage timer on normal mode, then you add 70% more health, and new abilities itll be a while. And you have to kill the other attempt bosses on heroic every week before they can unlock him every week.

Every kill is over 9min. Your youtube search wouldve worked if youtube didnt have a 10min time limit for videos.
Now subtract the 2 x 1min phases that you cant even dps the lich king cause you are on the edge. Then add in the fact that you have minimum 3 Raging Spirits to kill during the time its possible to dps the lich king. Add in 3 valks x 4-5 valk phases, a shitton of vile spirits and a shitton of drudge ghouls. And thats assuming no new abilities, which is a false assumption.

No honestly how would anyone know? Only ONE guild has even attempted it and they have not released any major info about the fight as far as i know.

I think it's brilliant how blizz has cranked LK25 difficulty so high. Finally those hardcore guilds are getting a run for their money and we get the exitement to refresh these pages to see when it will go down. Also it will take a long time before any "normal" guild starts killing him in heroic. My 25man will never get even close to killing the normal version oh him let alone heroic.

So to recap, the longer it takes the better for this game.
