enhancement totems, what do you personaly thinks best

If your using http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47666 the chance of a haste proc on lightning bolt, do you find it better then the stormstrike bonus from http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50463

I personally find I prefer the 264 haste proc totem, the duration of the buff is huge so it can be rolling even in high movement fights. With the 264 AP totem I think it's definitely better than electrifying wind, if only because EW has problems in aoe areas since you're using CL, and also doesn't have a 100% uptime.

I would have to agree.. Bizuri's Totem of Shattered Ice is superior to both Avalanche and EW due to it's massive uptime.. From the frist tick of as FS to when you have to cast FS again it's 45 seconds a you'd still have it active all the time.

and for the record, ive tested both the totems on fester 25 and i do more dps with the ap one.. but thats just for me so im not saying it's better

Totem of Avalanche. The attack power proc has better uptime and the extra +220 haste rating won't matter as much as your +438 AP and your +131.4 SP (that you will get from the Mental Quickness Talent).

In the game of numbers the haste totem simply outperforms the AP totem (>50dps). You can test this out for your own gear in its current standing by running two EnhSim runs with a change of totem. As others have mentioned it will also have a much higher uptime since it can be performed from range.

Uhm, you are testing it in live combat.

How many times have you tested it?
Is the length of the fight around the same amount of time?
How long?
Do you ever run out due to spores?


The list goes on...

ICC just has not been out long enough to get accurate results from a boss. Unless you are wiping on it repeadidly over and over night after night. And are wiping at roughly the same exact spot.

Now if you are getting some huge difference in numbers between the two totems, please by all means show us some numbers,stats, etc.

A single test using each totem (or even 2-3) is not enough to declare that one totem is better than another. There are far too many variables that come into play which can change each fight.

I prefer the Bizzuri's. For me, Haste is slightly high dps per point and the effect is much easier to maintain - which is pretty important since many ICC fights require you to move out or theres downtime where a boss is out of reach.
