My Grandmother died in cancer last May, started in her uterus ( her Womb) we thought they managed to take it away, and she was getting better. But then she collapsed, got examined a couple of more times and they Found out that the cancer had spread to her whole Abdominal Cavity, almost every organ she had. She died 5 weeks later.

My friend died couple of months ago from leukemia at age of 19. He fought with it for over a year. Hospitals, therapies, medicines, it all helped make him temporarily get better, but then suddenly he collapsed and died shortly after.
Cancer is not a joke, I hope OP's friend will win the fight with it.

I had a friend that got cancer and he almost died when he was 9. He's still alive today so the money everyone donates helps a whole lot!
