I was on an alt (level 72 shaman - was elem at the time). After waiting nearly 1 hour to get in a dungeon as dps, I finally found a group for Uk. We buff and stuff and the tank pulls the 2 groups in the first room. Meanwhile the healer (druid) was standing near the entrance (probably afk). I tried my best to heal everyone in the party and even with no riptide, or earth shield or cast times etc I managed to keep everyone alive.

The next second, tank asks "Kick [my shaman's name]?"

Ofc I was like ?!huh? and asked why.. He simply said "Becouse you are a &*%$ healer. You barely kept me alive"

ME: /p mate I'm not the healer, the druid is afk I think. I queued as dps..

Just after I pressed enter, guess what : "you are not in party", "you have been removed from the group"

That's just one of the things I've seen since 3.3..

Once when i was on my Priest i got a terribad tank... i don't think he was even close to the heroic defense cap because his health would go from full to like 20% in one pull... to make things worse he would pull half the friggin dungeon and i would go oom just spamming heals on him. He then says im a bad priest and i tell him he's a shit tank. Next thing i know i get kicked :/

Re: Your worst experiences with the Dungeon Tool

Yesterday i started to gear up my third tank character, a warrior. Doing some heroics and having no trouble tanking and holding aggro against some rly overgeared dpsers. But then i get a moonkin with like 5,2k gs, nothing to brag with tbh. He keeps typhooning on every single friggin pack of mobs i pull and didnt stop it even after i asked him nicely. (Typhoon right on the pull and im shockwaving nothing but the nearest rats )

Last night i queud up for yet another heroic and got DTK. Some rogue tells me to pull the entire first hall. I refused so he went in and TotT pulled the end of the hall and the first room to me :S after the wipe he went afk for 10minutes and came back before King dread, ran in and TotT pulled the entire area of raptors. I actually found it funny that someone can be such an asshole.

The LFG tool is really nice but nothing can protect us from some individuals that only play to fuck up other peoples game :S

    to start things off.

My worst experience would have to this one Heroic UK run. My gf had just dinged 80 on her hunter, soon after she had asked me where she could get a new ranged weapon from, and UK immediately sprang to mind, so i offered to carry her through some instances on my pally tank, get her some badges to go towards some tier pieces, so i que us up for H UK, group pops immediately we enter and buff and we proceed into the dungeon. It was a mostly geared group aside from my gf.. the healer and one of the dps was in TOGC10/25 gear and the last dps was averagely geared so this was ought to be a fast run. we got to the room just before the first boss, and the little notifiction window to kick a player had popped up, and i noticed it was my gf's toon that was being voted to get kicked, so i clicked no, but i see the message "The Vote to kick has passed" "[Enter gf's toons name here] has left the group" my gf was sitting next to me, and went absolutely nuts. so i asked in group why they voted to kick her. the healer responds with: "her dps was shit, i could pull more dps by spamming smite, she isnt geared enough to be in here" at this point i raged. Ofcourse you could, you outgear her by a mile. wtf is with her not being geared enough to do a heroic...how else are you supposed to get geared.

Quite a dumb reason for being kicked from the most simple of heroic dungeons.
Not everyone wants to carry people. I always initiate a vote kick on the worst geared dps as soon as I am able and they usually go through. I'd rather 4 man the last boss than carry a scrub.

Perfectly acceptable to wonder why. When this expansion was new, I tanked all the available heroics on my warrior with 19k unbuffed hp and not even remotely close to being uncrittable and it wasn't even remotely an issue.

Enhance shamans suck for heroics. Worst dps possible. I cringe when I get one. You should make a resto set for heroics, seriously.

Nah I usually run with a few guildies and we laugh our asses off. We do a lot of things like that like we'll pick up a couple pugs for the XT weekly raid quest and then boot them after FL and 8 man XT. Funny as hell.

Re: Your worst experiences with the Dungeon Tool

My worst experience with the Dungeon tool would have to be a UK group I joined a few weeks ago on my ret pally.
I get into the dungeon and start to buff I look at my group and theirs another pally a dk and a druid in the group all of witch had 20k hp now at this point my ui didn't have the little tank healer icons on the players so I didn't know who the tank was I asked in chat "Whos tanking?" and the druid responses "The pally" I reload my ui thinking my ui must be bugging out theirs no way our tank only has 20k hp with mark and sanc.Tthe reload happens and his hp didn't change so I went and looked at his gear. He was in level 40 SM gear most of witch was mail anyways to cut the rest of the story short he pulled he died healer left then I left because I would rather wait 15mins for a new group then wait the 10mins to kick that tank and find a new one.

Re: Your worst experiences with the Dungeon Tool

I haven't had many bad experiences with the new LFG tool. Perhaps I'm a very tolerant type of woman, or I'm very lucky... or my battleground is filled with good people who manage to compensate for the bad one's flaws.

Only bad experience I've had was with my Tree-druid... when she was 40ish I ended up with the slowest tankadin ever... that run took forever... (he also died a lot by falling off of places and we had to wait until he ran back because we couldn't get down there to ressurect him).

Feel free to complain about random people on the internet, but please don't start flaming anyone who posts here.

Also, just a reminder, naming & shaming is a bannable offense -- keep the names of terribad players out of all of your stories.

Re: Your worst experiences with the Dungeon Tool

I cued with my shaman as both elemental and resto. Got some instance as healer, dont remember which, and see that the tank got nice gear. So I use my elementalspec and gear and go dps/heal. I manage to do about 2000 dps and keep the tank up without any problem with no downtime really.

Then the hunter, who is friends with the tank, gets mad. YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO ONLY HEAL. you have to spam heal to much to keep tank up!
    - But, if I have to spamheal so much how come I still beat you in dps?
    - Change now or me and the tank will leave!!!
    - But why, this is faster?
    *retarded hunter and tankfriend leaves*
Me and the 2 other dps was pretty suprised =/

Re: Your worst experiences with the Dungeon Tool

This isn't particularly bad, but myself along and 3 friends had signed for a random heroic. The last member was a pug DPS warrior and the instance was H. HoS. So we started, things were fine and as we were making our way down the first corridor, we skipped the trash infront of the doorway leading to the end boss (they were around the other side of the circular thing so it wasn't really necessary to run around after them).

Myself and my friends had gone up the stairs and began on the trash there, all of a sudden we see that the warrior had some how pulled a dark iron giant and a pack of dark iron dwarves which unfortunately lead to a wipe as they pummeled our healer before the tank had a chance. When asking what happened and why we wiped, it was evident enough this warrior had pulled them some how. As a response, the warrior was adamant that he had 'not' pulled them, they simply started attacking him. We ended up removing him for our own personal safety as soon as we could.

This particular experience is probably the worst I've had which again, isn't really that bad considering the experiences others here have had. It was a normal FoS, i'm trying to get some gear on my paladin tank with a few normal ICC's first. We had a DK DPS whose gear would make your head scratch, various quest rewards including greens and blues, a couple pieces of PvP gear, a piece or two with SP, not sure what else he had. Granted his gear was a bit of a mess, the paladin dps' attitude towards him was rather terrible and as a result, the poor fellow left the group (as bad as it was, i felt the abuse was uncalled for).

I asked if we should wait for another DPS or start clearing trash, the paladin DPS said to clear trash because we were okay, he had a 5000 GS. I just wanted my run and so I began pulling. There were 3 paladins in total, myself, healer and the DPS. I wasn't sure which blessings they were going to use so I used Sanctuary, i figured they'd cover the kings and "X" other and if need be, they'd ask for "Y" blessing which i could give.

Just before the first trash group that included the shade, this DPS asks for a different buff and before I get to ask which one he wants, he feels it's necessary to tell me how to play my paladin. I tell him to "shush, I know what I'm doing" (I don't want to take advice from someone who's DPS was matching that of my own, dispite his gear being significantly better - and I believe I'm experienced enough to understand how the blessings and a paladin tank work). He then gives me "omg you n00b" etc etc. He firstly tells me to give them kings. My response was, you already have kings. He then tells me to give them Might which my response was, you already have might. He continues giving me "omfg you're a n00b". The paladin healer requested for a Wisdom which, I was more than happy to give. But before I did, I told the DPS that yes, he was a n00b (was getting a little fed up of him by now) and as a result, i was hastily kicked from the group.

(Sorry if this was lengthy :-\ Will keep it briefer in future.)

be careful what you wish for, shit like this will probably be watched extremely soon, especially with 30min deserter buffs coming. Stuff like this will most likely get you a nice ban to go with your epeen attitude.
