    No-CD tranquility

Quick question (or maybe two if answer is positive).

Does full Cenarion Raiment set + Improved Tranquiliy combo results in a no-CD tranquility like people say?

Can someone who actually tested this confirm?

Both of them combined will decrease the 20 minute cooldown to 4 minutes.

The set and talent are %, so it would be multiplicative not additive. So the CD on tranquility would be
    8 min x 50% x 60% = 2.4 min

    Re: No-CD tranquility

The idea of a spammable tranquility is pretty interesting (specially when combining it with Improved Tranquility)

...Too bad that replacing 8 itemslots with the cenarion raiment is such a drastic decrease of all stats that I fear manaregen might become an obstacle... :P

    unless my math is off it should be 1.6 mins, 8 minute base * 50% set bonus = 4 min. 60% of 4 minutes is 2.4, 4-2.4 = 1.6

still the cd would exist and tranq would not be spammable

I have full T1 and I have done this. There is no CD and you are able to spam it. Omen procs a lot too so unless tranquility gets interrupted early you barely ever run out of mana. I use it a lot for heroics or parties in Org. Keep in mind that only your party will benefit from the effect.

Yap I have full cenarion too and have specced improved tranq a few times, and you are indeed able to spam tranquility^ its alot of fun, as someone said already it procs omen of clarity alot too so you can spam it for an amazingly long time^ i enchanted my set up with wotlk enchants to improve mana regen and spellpower and it was ticking for around 5k a tick so pretty nice

Its even just fun to spam it for funs sake

    Have fun!

    5 Druids + 1 Pala?

Spammable 5K/HPS on the entire raid with a paladin to keep the tank topped up?

    Re: No-CD tranquility

Well as others previously pointed out it appears OoC procs so often that it compensates for the loss of regen...

Seeing as how tranquility has a quite decent base-healing (3K+ ticks in full tankspec+tankgear) I reckon the loss of spellpower is a non-issue

Just checked Wowhead's comments and apparently this is a known fact since a long time..

you should keep it quiet, and enjoy it.

Or else it will be nerfed like the paladin t3-LoH-cooldown

    Thank you for the answers.

I hope MC won't be "updated" this year.

On the subject of Tier 1 setboni; my hunter alt has the 3-Piece Giantstalker bonus - now originally mend pet had a 20 yard range but at Dec 6th 2006 they increased it, giving me a whopping 68-yard ranged heal =p

    Re: No-CD tranquility

Even if not very useful, it does sound like a lot of fun. Is it worth trying to farm MC for the set, or is the drop rate pretty low?

You can scout the AH for the Belt/Bracers - they're both BoE

    As for the BoP items;

    Head - Garr (14%)
    Shoulders - Baron Geddon (30%)
Chest - Golemagg the Incinerator (17%)
    Leggings - Magmadar (17%)
    Gloves - Shazzrah (30%)
    Boots - Lucifron (17%)

its soloable, but other then having that as a personal achievement/goal in mind, theres no reason why you shouldnt bring a few friends to speed up the process my personal favorite team for quick farmruns was druid+rogue+rogue - however that was at lvl 70, maybe you can just walk past trash at 80 without the need to stealth

I'd say; what stops you from giving it a shot? ^^
