Your only option as far as I'm concerned is spreadsheets.
not that i support this site and im a fan of pen and paper...but check it out ..

also this is a lootplan addon that after you do the research, you can mark items using atlasloot and when they drop a nice colorful message will alert you that it is an item you want ..and you can do it per spec
Assuming you know a little bit about the class, there's a website from GuildOx that allows you to enter stat weights and shows you gear that fits those filters the best. You can choose to exclude any gear from instances other than 5 man heroics, and there should be some premade templates if you're just that lazy. Bear in mind though that stat weights change as you acquire gear, for instance: spell hit is top priority for a caster dps class, however once you reach cap, it's worthless. Therefore, building your gear around the template that says hit is top priority will result in sub optimal pieces.

Give this a try.

If you know your Stat Weights for your class/spec, you can input them into Pawn, and it will display your stat weight total in the tool tip. Only useful if you stay on top of your sims/EPs/know what those are.
Any BiS list could potentially change with each upgrade, or even the members of a raid since for any role requiring hit rating then the presence or lack of buffs will determine the usefulness of some gear.
That is something you have to judge for yourself most of the time, not something an addon can do for you.
and if you want to just use default weights there is a mod called weightswatcher. it uses the wowhead weights and displays them in game for each spec. it is customizable as well ex: you are hit/expertise capped you can make those values less important. the only thing i've noticed is the auto gemming isn't 100%.
