We are <Malevolent> on Smolderthorn(PVP). We are the top PvE guild on current progression and have a history of being the top guild on the server. We have been a guild since June 2008 and many of the members have been playing together since early BC. We have a very good reputation on the server and we also run loot council.

Our current progress is 11/12 ICC 25m, 11/12 ICC 10m(We don't stress 10 man as much) 4/5 Heroic 25ToC, 5/5 Heroic 10ToC with Tribute to Insanity, 9/9 Ulduar HM's and Realm First: Alone in the Dark and Realm First: Celestial Defender. On the first week of Ulduar release we cleared up to General and were one of the world first with FL+2 done on release night.

We raid from Sunday to Thursday night with the exception of Wednesday, which is usually used for 10 man ICC if we are able to put 1-2 groups together. Understand 10 mans are not our priority, but we strive to get as much of it as possible when we do 10 man. We raid from 8:15PM EST to 12:00AM EST(We except all members, esspecially new members, to be on 30 minutes prior, since we try to start raids earlier than 8:15). Though we raid with a serious atmosphere, alot of our members have played with eachother for a long time and we do have our enjoyable moments in raid/guild. Understand, we are not looking for people who cannot take critisism, or tend to be a person who complains very often about trivial issues.

We expect all members, esspecially initiates, to maintain a 90% raid attendance. Initiates are HIGHLY recommended to have close to or at 100% raid attendance for the duration of their trial period. We are open to emergencies, as we can understand somethings can't wait. We are not looking for "that guy" who doesn't show up half the time, doesn't show up a day or 2 each week. These people will be excluded from raids until the problem is fixed, or they will be kicked from the guild eventually.

We run a loot council, based on attendance, attitude, preperation for raid, and preformance. We are not known for giving our core all the loot over initiates, though you will not be as likely to get loot as these people for the duration of your trial period. Your trial period can either be very short, or very long. This depends completely on you.
