We must never let Knaak met Michael Bay, or the end will be upon us.

Re: World of Warcraft Lore, By Richard Knaak (Spoilers)

Never has one post made me laugh so much. Tears are rolling out of my eyes.

I have one of Warcraft compilation novels, mainly filled with stories by Richard Knaak. No, I didn't buy it myself.

My poor, but well meaning spouse bought it for me as a Xmas present.

Because his wife's hobbies include playing World of Warcraft and reading random books, when he spotted a Hugh Jass book filled with Warcraft stories at Barnes and Noble, he thought it would make a perfect, thoughtful gift. And his wife praised his thoughtfullness, but as she sat down and read the book, she secretly began to wonder if he was trying to inflict some kind of torture upon her, because many of the stories featured Rhonin. Whom she got sick of hearing about. She cursed her husband's name behind his back and wanted to throw the Hugh Jass Book of Awful Rhonin stories into the fireplace. But then she remembered all the wonderful presents that did he get her that weren't bombs (wireless gaming mouse, tickets to Disneyland, bringing her lunch to her while she was at work, every Friday), and decided to let it pass.

But no, she couldn't let that book just sit on the shelf unused. She worked at a public library, for goodness sake, and couldn't stand the thought of burning a book in a fireplace, or let it go unread, no matter how awful it was. Someone else had to read it...so she lent it to her coworkers who also happened to be her guild members, and soon, they too, were cursing Rhonin's name.

Deathwing's Chin and the Black Dragonflight

    VS.

Rhonin's Flamingly Fabulous Red Hair and his Raptor Army

This will be the central plot of Cataclysm.
Then Rhonin went down to Blackrock Depths, killed Emperor Dagram Thaurissan, and fathered the heir to the throne of Ironforge with the extremely grateful Moira Bronzebeard. But he wasn't done yet; the Dark Iron Dwarves were doing the bidding of Ragnaros the Firelord, so Rhonin went down to Molten Core and beat the crap out of everybody.

    "TOO SOON," bellowed Ragnaros.

But Rhonin was all: "It's never too soon to party, Rhonin-style."

And then he beat Ragnaros to death with his own hammer, because Rhonin is the only Mage who ever had the mad skillz to train two-handed maces.

On the way out of Blackrock Mountain, Rhonin went to the spire and pwned Nefarian. He saved Vaelestrasz the Red, and the two did a celebratory chest bumb.

No point, the hair alone is strong enough to destroy the world twice over.

It'll just be a small lock of it.

I agree with Julex. Not enough mention of the colour of his hair, but a gripping tale nonetheless.
