I want to know how many of those people are actually going to be productive members of the Beta, or if they simply want to play the game early....

I bet SC2 will have a few bugs when it comes out like a few of WoW Betas. Blizzard really only should accept people who actually want to be productive in a Beta into a Beta.

    Holy hell.

If I get one of these, bloody hell I should sell it.
If I was a Blizz server technician, I'd hijack a server and use it to download porn 24/7. Guess why the instance servers always are full B]

I played 50ish matches, no bugs found so far.

Only issue is tabbing in/out results in a black screen for 10 seconds, and some annoyance with "waiting for players" when another player disconnects/lags.

    I hope they'll unlock 3v3 and 4v4 soon.

Well, if you remember the old SC, there was a 45 second grace period for the lagging player to get back in.

I'd certainly play if I got in, not spending $400 for the privilege though.

Yeah, and they also go on to explain how the Beta for WoTLK was over $1'000 for a key. If I get a key this year for cataclysm, I'm definitely going to just go on ahead and sell that thing for TONS of money. Then just go see the new places on a private server or something.

Seeing as all the loot and gold and shit you earn in a MMO beta gets erased before launch, it seems really silly to pay 1k for it. But hey, that's what you pay for, hype.
