    Leveling and Prot...

I have decided I will pick up my 41 pala and help my friend (40) shaman level up.

I am now left wondering tho, what spec?

Is it worth going prot? Or should I just stick to ret?

I figure we might also do some randoms every now and then so...

Any thoughts? Has anyone leveled as prot recently? How is it?

    Thanks

Both are fine, seriously. For prot, aoe, for ret, burn down singles.

Well thats what I was thinking as well.

Go prot and do mass AOE with him as backup heals. We also have RAF so triple xp on top of that.

What about some builds then? Got any links? Or, what talents should I really be looking to pick up?

Thats what I'd go with, personally. Lots of block-burning via holy shield, with a longer consecrate to make mana a little easier. Dodge talent so you don't take too much damage, not to mention blessing of sanc. one in spiritual attunement for a little mana back, since you said you were going to aoe grind with a healer)

Not sure if you have another glyph slot by that level, but if you do, i'd say Judgement.

If you have any quest where you cannot AOE grind, you will go oom as prot immediately and constantly. It will be horrible.

I'd recommend dual speccing prot and ret.
