all you'd end up with would be even more raid nerfs so the bads could get all the essential achievements for making any future fight easier, worst idea ever.

while you are at it,
can i go into horde towns unharmed as ambassador?
All of Time and Space, Everything that has happened or will happened, Where do you want to start?
"If you ever see a rogue, either rogue is overgear or the rogue has problems"
I guess the OP thinks "oh, if titles got stats, then i would be stronger". If titles got stats, everything would be balanced around everyone having it so it would feel the same if you had a good title and feel worse if you hadnt.

QFT Titles like tabards and shirts shud not give any bonus to combat.....perhaps out of combat bonuses, such as a teleport ability or perhaps a maniacal laugh or a transforms ur cahr into random race.....but not stats etcOriginally Posted by Dojjan
WoW characters that need/deserve to get killed/punished/otherwise removed from the story: Tirion(dead now), Thrall, Malfurion, Sylvanas(soon?), Jaina, Tyrande
I'd like the idea, but as mentioned earlier, this would force players to use the same titles.
I'd like cooler effects, but also effects that don't mess up pvp/pve balance .2 rogues with exactly the same gear and skills, one using "Of the nightfal" cuz it is cooler, while the other use a pvp title because of the boost, and thus wins the fight.
Some examples of what I'd like them to do:
Challenger / Duelist / Rival / Gladiator / Arena Season Title: Reduces the duration of stun and fear effects by 1/2/3/4/5% (non stacking, thus giving it no other use than looking cool if you have pvp talents that reduce stun/fear or meta gems).
Of the Horde/Alliance: Horde/Alliance npc's wave or bow to you sometimes when passing.
Of the Nightfall / Twilight Vanquisher: Increasing your mount speed slightly while riding on a Dragon mount. (1/2%)
Bloodsail Admiral: Increases your swim speed by 5%.
I think you get my point here. The bonuses must not be OP or even unbalanced in any way towards other players.
Yeah, this is horrid. Imagine if the companion pets gave stats. What if your different guild tabard colors gave different buffs? I don't even wanna think about a BIS shirt. It takes away the customization and turns something fun into another number to crunch.

THIS is actually a reasonable idea. It provides no advantages to another player but is still FUN. "The Chef" could make all your food "extra tasty" or something stupid like that, or make your belly swell from being full.. The love fool could give you the appearance of wearing crotchless pants, The elder could give you a big shaggy grey beard or something... cosmetic, pointless, fun.Originally Posted by Zhardoom

Aion has this, and people all use the same titles to get the biggest bonus, takes away uniqueness of them and forces people to use specific titles that they might not like.
2% less dmg for sarth3d for nefarian.
its like resistance gear. you had to farm hours of maraudon(ie sarth 3d) to down huhuran in AQ(ie kill nefarian).
if you are new you have to grind this old content - which sucks to be forced to (fine if you WANT to)
if you did it while it was present well nothing to do for you.
not really exactly example fitting but you get the point.
titles are titles.
