Do I start gemming for ArP?

As a fairly casual player I don't pride myself on having the best gear all the time, but I have only recently made the transition into MM.
I've played surv all my time at level 80, and I'm not very knowledgeable about MM so I would like some help to know whether I should be gemming ArP just yet.

At the moment I have 399 ArP without gemming for it, and the FoS hc trinket.
Help would be very much appreciated, Méte x

your not even soft capped yet, so nope

change Belt, Bracers, melee wep, neck to something with arp and then you should be at soft cap.. maybe bit away because of Ashen Verdict Ring but then well put 1-2 gems and you should be set.

Never gem for the softcap, shouldn't really be needed.
I also recommend trying to get the Naxx or Uld10HM trinket instead of the FoS one.
I tried them all around on the dummys and wow the FoS one has like zero uptime compared to Mjolnirs Runestone.

I guess it also depends on your crit since the FoS trinket has "chance to proc on ranged critical strikes".

just stick with agility gems, with your gear you can do some nice output dmg.
