BOOOOOOONE STOOOOOOOOORM! Macro?

So, I have the bone storm audio file saved to a macro. I've been thinking about linking it to my DS, but I'm sure it will drive me insane.

Anyone know a way or a mod that will let me link the audio file to play when Bryntroll procs?

Don't say i didn't warn you, and now that i read your post i realize you just want to play on the drain life. I have no way of knowing how to do that, but i got the DS macro :P

best way to irriate other people in a group is macro "/e uses <abilityname>" to every ability... then proceed to smash your face into the keyboard.

Actually, I think there is a add-on that allows you to share yours sounds with everyone that is using that add-on.

I remember when Beacon would not stack (3.0 to 3.2 I think), so all Holy Paladins on my guild had this macro

/s %t is now a Beacon of Light!

That used to drive people really mad after few hours of raiding.

Yeah, that's why I'm hoping to find an addon or something that will let the sound file play only when I get Bryntroll to proc.

I thought of this too, then thought it's really more a warrior thing to do with Bladestorm.

Like you, and most others have said, at first it will be cool, then with the 2pc T10 procs, it'll just annoy ya.

how can some people fail at reading?

the OP is not taking about linking bone storm to divine storm, but to the bryntroll proc, which is impossible with a macro.

the only one might be if there were to be an addon that can look in the combat log for when drain life procs, and then play the sound file.

Use powerauras and set the wav file to play when the life drain procs.

You should just get a soundbite of someone sucking the the last few drops out of the bottom of a glass through a straw. Much better connection to drain life than Bone Storm!! I know the weapon come from him, but the proc isn't very Marrowgar-esque.

I'll probably switch it out later on, but for now I enjoy that sound file. But honestly, that sound that you describe drives me nuts IRL. Almost as bad as people chewing with their mouths open...

I really don't think you can do that in Power Auras as there is no trigger for that type of event, However what you can do is use MikScrollingBattleText Then you can setup a trigger like this.

Trigger Name: Drain Life
Trigger Classes: All Classes
Main Events: Skill Damage
Event Conditions: Source Unit Affiliation - Is Equal To - You
Event Conditions: Skill Name - Is Equal To - Drain Life
Output Scroll Area: Your Choice
Output Message: Your Choice
Sound: Your Choice

If you want a custom sound you will need to use;

Custom Media: Sound Name and Sound Path
