Re: Dual wield paladin prof inside

oy, what's this fascination with dual wielding? If you want to dual wield plate wearer, there's already a class for that called the warrior.

If you want to dual wield 1 handers and do small amounts of damage but at a very rapid rate, there's a class for that as well called rogues.

If you want to dual wield 1 handers and do small amounts of physical damage but have spells that hit for larger amounts, there's a class for that too called death knights.

If you want to dual wield 1 handers and do huge amounts of physical damage coupled with instant spells and drop sticks on the ground, there's a class for that too called shamans.

If you didn't want to hold a huge 2 hand axe/mace/sword and be able to hit crap REALLY hard slowly, why the hell did you roll a ret paladin in the first place?

Because half of the Paladins these days came in about the time Wrath happened, if you catch my drift.

I asked all of my friends and they all agreed with me that [cataclysm feature] is as [opinion] as it is possible to be.
Blizzard are so [opinion], what [compliment/insult]s they all are!

There, now we can stop posting new topics in the Cataclysm forum altogether.
And if you disagree with me you're an [insult].

And therefore wish they were all DKs.

I bet you're one of them who thinks Paladins have 259 stuns, and then you run around with blue gear in bgs and get killed by a paladin in full ICC gear with wings up. Oh yeah, patch 2.8 called and wanted it's discussion back.

In combat, they can wield massive two-handed weapons, stun their foes, destroy undead and demons, and judge their enemies with holy vengeance. Paladins are a defensive class designed to outlast their opponents.
This kinda implies that pallys are not ment to DW. It is more likely that they will be able to use 2 handers with a shield then dw. Although I doubt that will ever happen for lots of reason like what's the point, and how would it help with no tank 2 handers and no rune forging.

We'll use polearms(spears) and shields just like the Spartans did. Mayhaps we can even have a short sword on our hip for improved hand to hand combat like they did.
