You're looking at it backwards. It gives healers spare global cooldowns every once in awhile so we can actually pick the right heal. Tanks won't be getting 2 shot.

It would be very short sighted not to have self healing in the right proportion. If it's not, it will be nerfed instantly. No worries.

Ill make a raid of 10 druids, plz be impressed when i put that through
Sartharion was hard for a week, and thats 14 months ago...
Seeing as dk's can selfheal i dont see much "wow factor" here..
Come back when u can do it with 10 warriors, 10 mages, 10 warlocks, 10 rogues or 10 hunters.

Bring a nicely geared Blood DK? Sure, one Mage less, one wipe less.

Or just have the 10 mages pop Mirror Image. 3 Images per Mage x 10 Mages = 30 Mirror Images. He would run from image to image killing them.

Come back when u can do it with 10 warriors, 10 mages, 10 warlocks, 10 rogues or 10 hunters.

10Shaman might be able to pull this off, 10 Enhancement Shaman I think would be the only real option since they have Shamanistic Rage.
