    You corrupt a fragment of the target's soul and separate it from the target's body.
    A 'Corrupted Soul Fragment' with low health slowly floats towards you when it touches you you gain a soulshard and full health.

    This be talent, no spell. But cmon it rulez

    Improved Backfire : Your Backfire effect has now abillity to stack after each application.When Shadow Bolt or Incenerate is released, Backfire will unleash them as many times as the effect has been stacked. Each continuing stack will decrease the effect of the spell by 15%

    = Backfire stacked 5x =
    1st Inc = 100% damage (normal)
    2nd Inc = 85%
    3rd Inc = 70%
    4th Inc = 55%
    5th Inc = 40%

    All incenerates are fired in 0,75 seconds after each other and after first Backfire is used, the effect of Backfire is unable to activate for 30 seconds. If only one (the first) stack of Backfire is used, the 30 second CD will not trigger.

    No GCD trigger and it will cast it even when you cast something else, or even if you are stunned. It cant be stopped unless you die or the stacks are depleted.

    Hellfire should be a castable debuff, much like Starfall. Remove Rain of Fire. Tweak the talent trees such that Seed > Hellfire for affliction, but you use both, and Hellfire > Seed for Destruction, but you use both.

    Aflaming Chaos- Causes shadow damage that swirls around the target growing in power for 12 secs. After 12 secs or when dispelled it fears all targets in 5 yards and deals damage equal to to 75% of your spell power+760. Lasts 3 secs. 40 sec cooldown.


    And for a 73 spell.

    Hellfire revamped

    costs 20% of your max health. 4 min cooldown
    2 sec cast.

    Summons a firey void spot that lasts for 1.5 mins. Deals 5500 damage per second modified by spell power per second as fire damage. Enemies caught into the firey spot are slowed by 40%. Damage from this effect cancels fear. (aka preventing dropping this and aoe fearing people into in arena.)

    cant get why no one have mentioned Cripple yet? it where deployed at ptr long ago but then got removed and this (imo) is a sign for that it will be in cataclysm instead

    this happened with crusader strike from vanilla and a few more abilitys you are seeing ingame atm

    Targets soul is trapped halfway between this dimension and the Demon World causing them to be snared and increasing casting time by 50%. In addition all damage and healing done to the target is reduced by 50%. Target cannot be dispelled. Lasts 8 seconds.

    A. Possibly. It’s also possible we may take a look at stuns in general. But overall stuns will feel less impacting in an environment where players have significantly more health than they do today.

    Think of it like the old mechanism if you can remember that of amplify curse.
    Selected spells with have an alternative or additional effect once they are empowered by the burning of a shard through the soul burn spell.

    As for what we get come 85 this is not the first thread discussing this, and nor will it be the last.
    We just have to wait and see what comes and hope that we get something special since this new mechanism is turning us into caster versions of dk's and making us less unique if anything, the opposite of what the original soul shard idea was meant to do, despite it being a hated feature of the class.

    Only 40 yds? And still on a 30 sec cooldown? I'd propose 50yd and give it 20-25 sec cooldown. Since it's our only escape and our only serious cooldown together with DC.

    How about changing curse of weakness to work like evasion, but in reverse and remove the joke of a hit debuff that our VW does :lol:

    Curse of Weakness:

    The target becomes weak for 15 seconds and and its chance to hit with spells and abilities is reduced by 50%. 2 minute CD.

    Beta, actually.
    But it would be a nice addition to the warlock repertoire.. Though with the increase in health, it might not be necessary for lock survival..

    Affliction - Require's point in Haunt

    Doom bolt

    Cd 8 sec

    Effect 10 sec.

    Doom bolt deals - spelldamage x 0.8 + 2250

    On impact Doom bolt doom's a target making your Curse of Doom tick each 3 sec. for Curse of doom's applied dmg devided by 20 - multiplied by spellpower x 0.15

    Side points - 1/2 in Haunted Doom
    50/100 % chance to refresh Haunt.

    Glyph of Doom bolt
    Reduce Cooldown on Doom bolt by 1 sec.

    Outbreak

    Costs 1 soul shard - Empowers you and your summoned demon with fel energy for 15 seconds
    Visual effect would be something along the lines of Legion flames from Jaraxxus

    Felpup- shadowbite X% more damage, can devour up to 4 spells, doubles fel intelligence
    Voidwalker- increases health and threat generated by Y%, sacrifice shield doubled
    Felguard - intercept has a 6 sec cd during this time period, damage increased α%
    Imp- blood pact efect doubled, firebolts now actually hurt
    Inferno- aoe radius doubled, damage modifier increased 1.5x
    Doomguard- gains intelligent AI
