the fastest that i know is 6sec...

Loken has 512,278 hp and you have five people, say four dps and one tank in dps gear.

512278/6 = 85 379,6667 rDPS = 17 075,9333 DPS/person, including the tank. It's just not realistic.

I don't care if you have 4 arcane mages and an elemental shaman, no one killed Loken in 6 seconds

Even if every one of your arcane blasts crit for 20,000 (which they won't) since you went into the fight with bloodlust and used every cooldown to cast arcane blast (and your arcane blasts were already at a 4stack because you stacked it on the giant beforehand) and you were fully raidbuffed, and your shaman rattled off 4 lightning bolts that all crit for 30k, that ALSO procced lightning mastery that ALL crit TWICE for 10k (which it can't even DO), you would still be short killing loken by 30k hp.

So no.

For a 6 second kill, you wont bring a tank though.

But realistically, 6 seconds cannot be done. Not in current gear/level.

has been done a while ago by 5 of our guildies. on their first try, with enough space for improvement.
combined with new icc25hc gear and maybe an elemental shaman instead of the warlock or 1mage would speed up everything to a fight close to 6 seconds.
In raids I have a DPS peak of about 25-30k during the first few seconds. I guess 17k in a heroic with some necessary buffs, and good execution is definetely possible

wow these are some crazy times, I remember doing HoL in the 1st week of WotLK in T6 gear and we had to pay attention to his lightning nova

if u use a tank to get there, get 5 (arcane) mages in 264 lvl items, on start all pop CD's inc Mirror image (18% dmg buff)

U probably down it in 7 seconds or so, shaman not needed cuz with 264 u should be haste capped :P

I know I did less-rabi in 10seconds flat according to dbm.
