^ Yes, since TC is considered a Spell, only crit rating from gear and spell crit buffs increase its crit chance.

The buff is REALLY nice, it's something I've been asking for years, it will definitely increase Arms AoE DPS (incite build) and Prot AoE threat.

TC was 150% crit damage, now, its 200% + 56% ( for arms at least) so if your crit for 3k before, expect 5k+ now.

also, will armor pen affect TC at all now that its ranged?

Possibly.

Keep in Mind that "Arcane Shot" is "ranged" as well, but only a fraction of it is physical.

yeah this is true but it does say "arcane damage" on the ability. i guess we'll see when it goes live. although if we get a 50% dmg increase from 100%ARP on TC it might be a little too OP...

thunderclap has always stacked with armor pen so far i know. that or my thunderclap magicly did more damage when nes procced (yes i tank heroics with nes)

btw, was the hit chance based on your spell hit chance? cause i have never seen it miss and im just melee capped, not spell capped.

i believe it was the regular 8% as i too have never seen a miss. although i could be wrong bc i only use it on 3 or more targets and thats alot of numbers flying across my screen to keep track of it all. now if it does scale with arp TC just might get nerfed again bc its gonna be hitting insanely for arms warriors.
