Trash Tanking with a slow 1H

Heya. I'm looking for a decent 1H wep for tanking heroics w/ as well as trash in raids. Here's my armory if ya need it for the spec. I use SoCleave on trash. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...&cn=Tyrrandion
(a few things aren't gemmed/chanted because Im moving my gemming around, as well as some new items)

I'm not having problems w/ threat per se, but there are times when a really well geared dps can tear aggro off my offtarget, and the extra threat never hurts. I have checked and I am Def capped w/o my tanking wep, so I figured I'd grab something the help out a bit. I've heard that Thunderfury from MC is still the best for trash, as the effect builds multi-target threat, as well as procs SoCleave. I'm going to start farming for this, even if it isnt a great trash wep, It'l at least count toward the achie in Caty. Anywho, untill i can test that out:

Right now I have The Black Icicle from H HoR as well as the Singed Vis'kag from ony 10 sitting around my bank.

Seeing that all of your possible weapons have the same DPS; no, don't bother switching. HotR dmg depends on weapon DPS, SoC mit hit harder but the hits will come out slower.
Take out one point of SA and Conviction each and put them into Crusade, it'll be a TPS/DPS upgrade. I'd also take out further points from conviction for PoJ, being faster than the DPS means also more threat.
If you're running into mana problems I think I'd run with glyph of SoC instead of ShoR one, easier method would be keeping plea up or pulling more though. (if you're worried about incoming dmg spec vindication instead of conviction)
Also, even if it's "just" for heroics, put two points from reckogning into Judgements of the Just, it hurts seeing prot paladins without.

I'd stick with BI. Stats > 2k random proc IMHO.

Glyph of ShoR is said to save you more mana than the man you would get back from Glyph of SoCom.

Put at least one point in JotJ. It will make your judgement proc SoC and SoV seal damage and refresh Diving Plea. That is a tps/dps upgrade.

Take out 2 points from reckoning and put them in crusade. The difference in uptime between 3/5 and 5/5 is very negligible, and crusade if more tps/dps point for point than reckoning is.

A big question is are you tanking raid bosses or just trash and heroics? If you are tanking raid bosses pull points out of conviction and max out vindication.
