Horde falling apart?

If you're referring to an alliance out of necessity they haven't exactly been without conflict since Illidan http://www.wowwiki.com/Kil'jaeden... http://www.wowwiki.com/Lich_King. The Draenei would more likely stick with the Humans and Dwarves due to a common belief system (they worship the Light) while the Night Elves are more Nature based. The Shamans of the Draenei would probably still be more likely to be at ends with the Night Elves since the NE's are obsessed with controlling nature and shaping it into what they want it to be.

As for the Horde, their shaky relationships sound much more pronounced thanks to this recent rumor post. Thrall seems to be holding the entire horde together by sheer force of Thralliness. The guy must have enough sheer charisma to sink a planet.

Illidan and Black Temple was the end of a long military campaign which had the "forces of good" go from eliminating Illidan's source of new forces (killing mag and ending fel orcs), stopping him from controlling the water supply of an entire world (Coilfang), and then stopping what seemed to be Kael aiding him sucking the mana (life?) from outland. We find out later that killing Kael really just stopped him from leading a crusade against Illidan which would have resulted in a civil war that ripped outland apart. Then we kill Kael and TBC is over lore-wise.

KJ pops up and corrupts some people, but the sunwell storyline is as flimsy as it gets. Not to mention he appears 1 year (real time) afterward (we can assume 5 + years in loretime right?). The horde would have shrunk back to its 3 race core, the nelfs would have been reaching out to the belfs (possibly alienating the humans), the forsaken are still not a legit race, and draeni would have skipped town and tried to resettle and rebuild outlands.

Possibly a new alliance would form, but we are talking about a single battle that is fought, and it would MAYBE be reforged along the same lines (in reality the Belfs are begging everyone for help, draeni are benevolently helping everyone, the main horde/alliance factions ignore each other and save the world, while the forsaken sit this one out.

Wrath is the second great military campaign of wrath (although really its not nearly as focused...) in any case, in all likelyhood this is many years later and we have a slight reshuffling of alliances ala WWI to WWII.

If there's pretty blatant evidence and that evidence is backed up by Magatha, who is considered one of the wisest and most revered Tauren leaders, I can easily see the Tauren turning on even someone as beloved as Cairne.

idk, because the grimtotem have a reputation among hte tauren like the defias have with the humans, if van cleef suddenly started spouting crap about varian on the streets of stormwind wed just laugh him out of town. magatha is an elder and the tauren think highly of their elders and shaman, but i still think they have an idea of what shes about-in the manual it says that she was always power hungry, and hints that she killed her mate (that he was killed in a climbing accident with her, tho he was experienced at that) to even be in charge of them--if we can see the leap so can they im sure.
