I agree with Grom and Garrosh being hot-headed and attacking rather quickly and violently. But I hate when people love Grom and hates his son. They are the same breed. Everyone forgets that.

Grom's not exactly on my list of favorite lore characters, either. (Now, Durotan, on the other hand...)

I think that killing Cairn will be a very good way of putting change into the horde cause as said he does nothing but stand arround in tb. But what this have to show is that Garrosh, is not a good leader leading the horde towards destuction after the glorious days under thrall. But don't wory my fellow horders the alliance are gonna have it even more rough with a possible destuction of IF !!!!

But anyways i still don't understand why Garrosh is becoming warlord, i mean thrall must surely have a son by now, it would only be natural that his son became warlord.

Warchief of the Horde

• Thrall will become the next Guardian of Tirisfal. However, Thrall will merely 'leave Garrosh in charge' though this does not stop Garrosh from declaring war on the Alliance and fortifying Horde outposts and cities.

so this means that they developed the Character Med'an, and his backstory for him to die at the beginning of, or just before the events of Cataclysm so Blizzards favorite BFF orc that has no actual command over "magic" can become the guardian of tirisfal? I hope Deathwing eats him mid-way through the expansion so that we can get a more deserving character as a new guardian. either that or i hope varian orders the death of Jaina for embueing the leader of what is still an invading army in azeroth with her powers like the traitorous skamp that she is.

:edit: disregard that. apparently i have no concept of what time of year it nearly is. i still think varian should string up Jaina tho. that is unless he is just keeping her around for possible breeding purposes for his growing little boy.............. i'm talking about his son you pervs.

If it's not "war-sized" then it hardly be called a war can it? Those are minor scuffles over resources. The closest thing to an outright war in-game right now is wintergrasp and alterac valley when players stay in the middle and beat the crap out of each other.

Disagree on them being the same, actually. Grom seemed more reasonable to me. Example: Garrosh seems to have no issues with killing children (evident by his convo with Saurfang in Borean Tundra), whereas Grom does seem to have issues with it, considering his first appearance in the novel "Lord of the Clans", where he agrees with Thrall's decision to not kill a human kid to prove himself to the other orcs.

Well, that's what i think anyway. Also Grom was a better character just because he was one of the only orcs that didn't lose that inner struggle against the bad side-effects of Mannoroth's blood :P

For what? The way she possibly saved his life in Undercity? Unless the Varian-hatedom—out of which I've gradually drifted—is right about him being a ravening thug, he probably thanked her for that.

WoWWiki doesn't have dialogue after Jaina teleports them back to SW, and I have no highlevel Alliance character, but I'm pretty sure he was rather pissed after being taken the "opportunity" to deal with the Horde's leadership.

Better be a reason that isn't total horse****, Cairne co-founded the "New Horde" and co-built Orgrimmar, you don't get loyalty greater than that.

Well, knowing Garrosh for the kind and peace-loving red orc he is, he probably just off'd poor Cairne for defiance in a scenario not unlike this one

Look at Varian's dialogue during the quest. He's running on emotion at that point.

However, he'd have to be as dumb as a fucking bag of rocks to think he could take on Thrall and Sylvanas at once and hope to prevail. And, while he may be hotheaded, I don't think he's that.

Again: Jaina probably saved his life, and he probably knows it. And no, he doesn't say anything about it, or appear to hold any sort of a grudge against her for it.

I find it remarkable about how many have taken all thats written here seriously.

The 'facts' presented here, aren't actully solid. Half of them are facts, the other half are rumors. The rumors themselves were things spread around at the last blizzcon, something moderators on MMO Champ took wind of well there, and threw in these rumors in the all other peices of information, just to try and make it seem genuine.

PC Gamer, got those exaggerated rumors and made an article about it what mmo champ had already said, and now, the same website that started them in the first place is making out like what pc gamers saying is also fact.

The thing to that makes these rumors spread around more are the silly gamers who don't stop to ask 'where did you get these 'facts' from?'

Cairne dying, thats a rumor, Thrall becoming a guardian of tirisfal, another rumor, and nothing to support them.
And well there article states this is specualtion, honestly, these kind of speculations shouldn't be spread on a site where people so easily believe them to be truth, and the mobs should know that.

I've lost a fair bit of respect for mmo champ after this, rehashing there own rumors from another source, pff

We may see the “ghost” of Cairne shifting in and out giving advice and guidance like Obi Wan Kenobi did in Star Wars. Helping the Tauren on their way to be Sunwalker Paladins.


That alone would be a cool enough reason to kill him. Everybody likes Cairne. Everyone liked Obi Wan. Some characters just make for better advancement of the story while dead(ish)

everyone keeps saying surafang will not stand for what garrosh is doing. but you also need to figure a couple other figures. Rokaro champion of the horde will probably help surafang. And if they asked him to, I'm sure Rexxar would come in and destroy Garrosh.
