Angli Vel Angelus, a 3+ year old guild, is re-forming for the assault on Icecrown and is looking for a number of new guild members to restart 25-man raiding. In the post-TOC malaise, we lost a number of raiders who have not come back for ICC. While our numbers are down we continue to run 1-2 ICC10 guild raids per week (6 bosses down), and help each other out with other runs where possible, both PvE and PvP. We plan on returning to 25-man raiding the week of February 23rd or March 2nd, and are going to be building up our ranks between now and then, so this is a great chance for some good folks to get into the new content!
Since the beginning, our guild's approach has been to recruit high-quality, smart, mature (although not necessarily old) players who have limited time for whatever reason, but want that time to be well-spent. We want players who know their class well, try to know the fights in advance, and come fully buffed. Our aim is to fully clear ICC25 and have made significant progress on hard modes before Cataclysm arrives - and to do this with a fairly short raiding calendar.
Raid Times:
Mon/Tues/Wed 7:00-11:00 server time (PST). We expect raiders to commit to 2 of those raids per week.

We could use a little bit of everything here. Especially priests.
DPS:
We're open to any but are in most need of the following.
Rogue: 2-3 (DIRE NEED)
Warlock: 1-2
Paladin: 1-2
Druid: 1 (Moonkin)
We're willing to take someone a little undergeared who has a good attitude and good skills and will happily gear you up. We also are happy to take groups of players, and we have a few couples in guild as well. And of course, even if we're not currently recruiting your class/role, we're always interested in talented and fun players!
We use Officer Discretion/Loot Council for loot. We use a combination of attendance + need + recency of loot to make decisions about who gets what . We find that it's the only way to not have real systemic problems, and it has worked well for us for years now. And feel free to ask some non-officers what they think
