This is most likely due to the fact that there are barely any PVP battlegrounds going on, on the PTR. >> There weren't any for you to join.

Yeah it doesnt sound of much with the 30HK but its not the worst :P And great that you can buy mounts with honor now. - Mounts inc. on my alt woohoo ^^

To answer some people's questions :
Stormpike Battle Charger also cost 50k honor
So i assume the Horde edition does to

Hey Boub, do you happen to know what's gonna happen with the Stormpike Battle Charger? I don't see it listed with the other pvp mounts. Will it be purchased with honor, as well, or become some sort of feat of strength? It's the last pvp mount I need and I'll get crackin' on it asap, if that's the case.

Has anyone done the math yet?
Which would give me more honor:
A) Turning in "Concerted Efforts" now (repeatable quest requiring 1 Mark from each BG, total 6 marks), or
B) Waiting for this patch to go live and turn all marks one by one
Assuming I got all 100 marks for each Battleground, so total of 600 marks.

great news for those levelling new characters. wintergrasp stone keeper shards > BoA honor > alts.
no more farming crap BGs for tokens for 60 pvp gear :P
I think by the time I hit 60 on my new priest, I'll have at least 40k honor from BoA tokens saved. That's pretty nice for a boost in gear for levelling up with.http://files.me.com/sureshk/j0r7w6

I like the honor changes. At last I'll be able to complete "Mountain o' Mounts".
But why does the Warsong Gulch tabard still cost 60 Marks? Just a bug or is it supposed to be some kind of special item?
