it is a real pain to have to farm old world for hours just to get our profs up, should blizzard do this?

Everyone else had to farm the stuff aswell. Also, you can get two crafting professions, and buy the materials from the AH: no farming involved. Two crafting professions would most of the time suit you better anyway.

What's your reasoning on being able to skip alot in primary professions, every other character has to do it. It won't hurt you to spend a day catching up or spending a little gold for others to get it for you.

Then you level it from zero like everyone else. You have the advantage of being 57 levels higher when you start.

So... because DK's start 54 levels above every other class they should also get free professions? Hell, why not just start 'em at 80 with full t10? That would be way easier than having to get that stuff yourself, right?

There are no gatherable stuff in the starting area as far as I remember, and you'll be 58 (57 levels higher than the rest) when you leave that place, and can begin farming.

You could leave earlier, of course, but then you'll be missing a few talent points, which isn't something one would normally desire.

Whether you can find stuff to gather or not doesn't matter since there aren't any trainers anyway.

And no, DKs need to work to level up their profs the same as anyone else. That's just life.
