Destro question: with the new changes to immolate (being able to crit in 3.3.3) do you think crit rating will scale up better than spirit? being like hit>sp>haste>crit>spirit?

In Cata you will see no more Spirit on lock gear. All talents that give spell power from Spirit will be changed. Mana regen, for us, will be handled differently. So... yes! If you're talking post 3.3.3 - pre Cata... no! Or at least it depends on your gear.
If you have 10% crit then Spirit>Crit, if you have 41% fully raid(25) buffed like me...

This wasn't a question about Cata. Why does someone have to tell us about stat changes in Cata every time someone mentions spirit :P

@OP as ever it will depend upon your gear. It will also depend upon your glyph choices, since Destro doesn't necessarily use GoLT.However, I imagine it would, since it's pretty close already.

Using my personal gear (ilvl 260 on average)
Using Glyph of Life Tap: 10384 dps, SP 2.0, Haste 1.43, Crit 1.15, Spirit .82

Using Glyph of Immolate: 10545 dps, SP 1.9, Haste 1.3, Crit 1.19, Spirit .84



It went up by .1 dps overall.

lifetap glyph screws up sexy rotations,

change it to immolate/imp regardless of your simcraft imho....

easier rotation that you never mess up > harder rotation that you mess up maybe 1-2 times in a fight

not that im saying its hard to keep up, just always drops at the worst times (from my experiance)

- agree cata sooooo far off, stop talking about cata, Im sure my guild is gonna disband soon as SC2 hits anyway or diablo 3
