There is a glyph for Corruption that lets haste effects it and you can also make a Spellstone to increase haste even more, early.

Discerning Eye of the Beast

Spellpower is generally better than haste, especially at lower levels when you don't have much of it. As you progress you'll probably find you have a respectable amount of SP and no haste, so this may change a little, but I'd suggest sticking with the SP as a pretty solid choice.

You can always get two of each if you're swimming in triumph badges, you may well want to level a melee class at some point. (I actually have 4 of each as I kept forgetting to transfer them between my alts.)

Spell Power > Haste while leveling - you will run out of mobs and then all that time you just saved is spent waiting for respawns or running around looting.
