I'm wondering how to find moves that you don't have in your spellbook to link to other players.
for example, sinister strike on my warlock, or anub'arak's pound.
Is there a database for these or something?

There is a database; www.wowhead.com Just use the 'link' button at the top right of any item or skill.

Better yet, try our own database. Find a nice spell and click "Link it ingame".
