mage everlasting pet glyph in pvp?

I was in a skirmish with a frost mage today and he was using this glyph so his pet never despawned and he was owning face i was just wondering if it would ever be a good idea to use this glyph

yes but it can contantly keep people slowed and constantly do damage

Frost mages are about control.
You do not want to lose that option for what is otherwise a slightly annoying pet.
Much like the voidwalker which you arent using it for a shield, it becomes a minor annoyance and little else.

Not to mention the pet can be killed quickly anyway.

Freeze is like the reason for having it so definitely no.

Like said, freeze is the ability your pet is useful for in pvp. Besides, its not by far everlasting as you kill it easy which triggers a 2.30min cooldown on the thing again.
