Question as to 3.3.3 Unholy DK's

Howdy.

I have a few simple questions, some answers I may not agree with based on my experience but still, need some help.

I've read over the patch notes, here, and EJ, and I'm seeing a lot of places say 0/17/54 is now the way to go.

Anyone want to explain why as to this?

Also, side note, Morbidity, anyone else go into this instead of Reaping?

The talents in the blood subspec just aren't particularly good, two handed weapon specialisation is nice but none of the other talents scale well with gear. Almost all of the frost subspec talents scale well, so it's better at high gear levels.

20% flat haste increase that stacks with windfury and gives you more BCB and Necrosis procs, along with an additional 4% strength is the answer.

Hey can you just talk to me about the whole Morbidity thing?

Just like, you seem like you'd be as geared as me if not more, what have you gone into?

I'm currently 12/0/59 as europe doesn't get the patch until tomorow. I have both morbidity and reaping. This is because I raid with resto druids speccing revitalise which boosts the value of morbidity, and I have enough crit on gear already to diminish the value of dark conviction to a point where morbidity becomes better.

Whether or not morbidity is better than reaping for you depends on your gear, your armour penetration is pretty low and you are using bryntroll, both of which make reaping worse, and you have a bit of haste which makes morbidity better. Download kahories simulator, run some sims and find out.

Unrelated to the above but replace your mark of supremacy with, well, anything. You are way over the hit cap even without it. You should also put strength/crit gems in any yellow sockets associated with bonuses equal to or greater than three strength. After regemming you may have enough crit for it to be worth dropping your points from dark conviction and one from morbidity to pick up reaping again, once again run some sims.

Your fist question is already awnsered. And personally i think i wont spec reaping ( for now at least ). Its much more messy to keep the 5% dmg up if you spam scourge strike all the time. But i guess ill hae my awnsers tommorow with the patch .
Also i wont even use morbidity, here is the spec im going to test tommorow in ICC
