Druid Epic Flyer Question

Ok, so my druid just hit 70 and I'm about to do the quest to get its epic flyer. I know that in patch 3.0.3 they put it so you can just learn it from the trainer at 71. My question is that can I just wait until lvl 71 and buy it from the trainer and still be able to keep the quest in my quest log so I can still farm the raven mount? Being able to fly around Northrend isn't really a big deal for me because I'm leveling via LFD tool. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can. The quest and learning off the trainer are both independant to each other.

Make sure you have epic flying skill though.

I have done 99 runs for Anzu, and i still haven't seen it drop. Im hesitant about doing the 100rd :P

MT got his off my run then I had to wait another month running it everyday to get mine. Obv fight is a joke just its all the time u spend in stealth going to the last 2 rooms.

Not only can you keep the quest in your log, you can pick it up after you learn the spell.

I know this aint much but...after 35 runs I couldn't bring myself to run the shitty instance even one more time. It's damn frustrating and if you know you're not "the patient guy", just don't go there at all. :P

you dont need the quest in your log to fight anzu, only the key is needed. When you complete the quest you get given a new key to carry on farming the mount. Got it on my 5th run with my druid.. but as of yet havent managed to get it with my hunter :'( even after 18 months of doing it most days.
