MB RNG not playing nice

I'm finding that since the patch, the T10 2pc proc isn't proc'ing as much

oops, was rushing, meant Missile Barrage wasn't proc'ing as much. definitely not 40%

Umm no. The proc is based off your Mbarr/Hot Streak/Brain Freeze. Nothing else. RNG can be a bitch sometimes.

The % is still 12% as it was pre-3.3.3

I checked WoL from last night and my overall Missile Barrage proc rate (3 hours, 8 bosses) was :

Missile Barrage 513 990.4 32.7 %


the Rotface fight even shows MBarr as low as 24.5%
for Val. Dreamwalker it is 26.2%
generally, it's in the 30's% for the other boss fights

What I was expecting, over the course of 3 hours, is to be close to 40%.
Individually, the fights could range from 30% to 50%, but actually they linger in the 30%'s

hence, my suspicion that the Mbarr proc rate was nerfed

Mine last night in ICC 10 for 6 bosses and about 2.5 hours was

378 966.8 15.3%

That seems really low to me.

Done some tests and the proc rate seems okay:
Casted Arcane Blast four times, wrote 1 if there was a proc, wrote 0, if there was no proc.
Grouped it in a 10x10 table:

=> 83 Procs
Estimated Procs: 0,4 + 0,24 + 0,144 + 0,0864 = 0,8704 -> ~87%

Conclusion: 4 procs less, thats an acceptable range for such limited tests. So, nothing should be wrong with MB.
