The rogue's burst is probably the highest in the game,

Arcane mage, way more burst.
Destro Lock, way more burst.
Ele shaman, way more burst.

Rogues got good burst, but its not as good as the above, because they also have 50% healing reduce..

rogues are pretty underpowered, i get out of a stunlock on my warr at about 25khp+, turn around, hit mortal strike, most likely dodge, then i have a overpower, rogues dead

Facts of the day:

WIthout cooldowns rogues are weak
With they are powerful
They need cooldowns because they are VERY squishy

So boys & girls...what have we learnt today?

Damage - High

Mobility - Low (look at warriors for high mobility)

Utility - High, being able to stun someone long enough for a caster to unload onto them is ultra good, ms and 70% slows

Survivability - All rogue cooldowns are RNG. Cloak fails - you die, evasion gets less and less potent everytime you dodge, can't dodge while stunned, overpowers etc, multiple spells being able to cast through cloak (serpent sting, plague strike) makes it quite difficult to vanish because vanish is already a 50/50 chance if someone is near you or a spell/arrow is in the air.
