upgrade lowering my dps???

hey all. like many hunters i farmed the frost badges for primordial saronite to get the LW craftable boots.

i got the last primordial saronite for the boots and on the same fight won http://www.wowhead.com/?item=50789

so anyways i got both of these gemmed and enchanted then went on with life thinking my dps should greatly improve (they were replacing http://www.wowhead.com/?item=47577 and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=40746) seeing as how i replaced ilvl 213 boots with 264 only to run a few heroics and the weekly and find my dps has actually dropped! is there anything i screwed up on? i know i lost some hit but i am still resting well above the cap. has anyone else experienced a similar problem or am i alone on this?

any help or sympathy would be appreciated! thanks all

Were you comparing to being fully raid buffed? or a group that buffed hunters (IE non caster group)

fully raid buffed as well as heroic buffs. i expect to do 6k dps in heroics and about 7k in raids fully buffed (heroics seem high but us surv hunters have like the best aoe's ever lol. also i am a lw so i can give ghetto buffs in heroics.)

when i did the weekly there were 2 pallys so i had both pally buffs, there weas a feral druid as well as an enhance shaman and an arcane mage. can imediately think of any other class buffs that would buff my dps...

Imo its stupid to try and measure your dps in heroics.. Depending on how much trash there is per pull and what not your dps is bound to fluctuate.. I can't even take this post seriously because u said your dps dropped in heroics..

Do some actualy dmg tests on dummies or in a full raid before questioning a drop

Weekly doesn't count because a grp with 6 hunters tanks and heals could down the weekly (my point being u just throw and rubbish into a grp and you could do it)

So go do some dmg tests on dummies or give us some raid parses instead

ok well i hope that most of this was either due to rng or lack of buffage.

my guild knows my dps pretty well and i am usually one of the top 3 so they are fairly dependant upon me... this would really suck if it was an issue with my gear
