Killing machine - How many points to spend?

I was just wondering how many points u would put into this in 3.3.3

im getting many diff answers from diff specs but never do i see 5 full points cuz apparently it is a waste of dps

ive seen specs with 4,3 and even 2 pts in killing machine.

How many is good amount where u have enough but not too much that u can't keep up with it?

I'm running with 4 points in KM and it seems just right. It's like the goldilocks and the 3 bears thing.

Because of KM proc overlap. You're more likely to overlap KM procs with 5/5 than with 4/5.

Actually this question was recently brought up in the DW Frost EJ topic, where 3/5 showed a 8.1% KM uptime loss over 4/5.

4 is best, likely they will condense it in Cataclysm, probably will only be a 3 point talent.
