You can probably put yourself in this situation: You have been mumbling along to the same song for years, enjoying it, even chancing a high pitch version in the shower. And for some reason or another, someone someday hears you sing the song and sais "Thats not what they are singing!".
I'm a CSI fan, and the intro for the original CSI: Las Vegas (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3NzgPNpQkno) have apparently been imprented wrongly in my mind. Ofcourse, I didn't actually bother to look up the song, so for years I have been singing along to:
"Uuuuuuuuuh Warrick. Uh uh uh uh. Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh Warrick, uh uh uh uh".
Which is strange, because I always wondered why they are singing about Warrick. It wasn't until yesterday where Scrubs' acapella band (Ted and the other losers) was singing an acapella version where there happened to be danish subtitles - I don't think I would have noticed if there hadn't been:
"Whooooooooo are you? Who who who who. Whoooooooooooo are you? Who who who who".
Which songs have you misheard?
