What do you all think of the new random battleground changes?
Personally, what I see is a lot more competitive games. Games where people are actually trying
to finish, really putting up a strong strand defense, AB games are a lot tougher, people in Alterac
Valley are really putting a defensive stop to people at Galvanger and Balinda, and the battlegrounds
feel a LOT better in general, better players making a better battleground experience for everyone.
I think it would be an even better experience if the rewards were far greater for winning than they are
for losing. Say, 4:1 odds, win and get 2000 extra, lose and get 500 extra. When you have actual
incentives for completing the battleground correctly, people tend to get more motivated, play better,
and the entire thing seems a lot more fun.
Makes me really look forward to the cataclysm changes and what they're doing to bgs to make them
feel more competitive and fun.
