Sorry, that's no where near close to alternative rock. The music itself might be, but if you can't tell she's trying to rap, then you must not live in a country where rap is everywhere.

You are seriously confusing "sung rhythmic style" rap (exemple Beastie Boys) with that Nasic (the white chick in the video) is doing.

Just because something remotly sounds like rap does not mean it is rap. Alter rock is defined by the instruments and not by the singing, wich can be anything from Brit Indie to Nasic's faster Grungy style.

Check some out some Grunge singers and you will see the similiraties.

Check Rage Against the Machine for a real Hip-Hop influenced rock band. That one i will not debate, what the singer is doing is indeed rap
