I spam my abilities and the constant red stream of error text in the middle of my screen is getting on my nerves. Is there any way (aka mod) I can move this to the combat log or barring that get rid of it entirely?

Dont spam abilites :c?
I think you can disable this in the Interface options.
Try SnowFallKeyPress, I think that's what you're looking for. It allows you to spam your button and activate the spell on key PRESS rather than key RELEASE.

PS. Spamming your abilities compensates for lag, increasing DPS. If you time your abilities you lose a tiny bit of time due to player error (My fingers don't operate by the millisecond) and lag. Even if you use a cast bar that compensates for lag human reaction time and errors calculating latency (latency changes by the millisecond and latency bars only calculate once per cast, usually at the beginning)
EDIT- PPS as great as google is that doesn't really lead to anything useful other than a way to make a macro to disable error text that I would have to make for every one of my abilities. Believe me, I've been playing this game long enough to know whether something is super easy to find or not, and I definitely tried.
Sorry for offtopic, but thanks a damn lot, I thought of this in the past but never found anything for it, I'll try it asap, should be an awesome + for PvP 8)Originally Posted by failstorm
look up wowinterface.com ncError.
Blocks all of those red text errors.
Allows you to reprint the last one by a /error command
Tinier and easier to use then Error Monster which you have to remember to specify what to filter it to (none is not a default for it)
Ohh dear, reminds me of a dude in guild.. taptaptaptaptaptap, like a gatling gun, when he speak on vent ;D
Poor fingertip, remember it gotta last all your life, dont tap it away yet :P
But ye, one of the posters got a macro thingie to remove the red txt i belive

I used, it but I can't really tell whether it worked or not, as I have been playing on a 3g connection lately, so everything happens with lag anyway . But in theory it should be very helpful for people who like spamming their buttons. You have to get used to the system a bit at the start though, as if you press the button too early, nothing happens, so you need to be either spamming the button OR pushing the button right on time.Originally Posted by Mushrøømz

Really? I typed this exact phrase: "wow error message addon" into this really cool tool called Google and the 2nd item that popped up was this addon called ErrorMonster. What the heck were you searching for that made this less than super easy?Originally Posted by Switzer
your half right, but in fact spamming your abilities too soon can be a net dps loss, i mean, say u hit your button 0.1 sec before the spell your casting finishes, as soon as it finishes u start your next cast, all is well in the world. but say you press your ability 0.15 sec b4 the cast finishes, ur ms is 100, it now takes 0.1 sec for your computer to tell you you cannot cast that yet, then 0.1sec after that for server to start your cast so u just lost 0.05 sec of casting, thus a net LOSS of dps, this is a basic example but it shows realityOriginally Posted by Switzer
A net DPS loss compared to what? Trying to time your abilities? Out of the two options of trying to visually time it or smashing keys, spamming is the best option unless you know a better way.Originally Posted by shamystic
