    Engineering haste gloves

    Hello

I've lvled my Engineering to max yesterday and made a macro :

    #showtooltip Conflagrate
    /cast Conflagrate
    /use 10

but somehow this seem to bugg m Conflag, FA : Having to click it twice, or having a delay. Any good solutions? ( Other macro, bind it to an other spell etc )

    Thanks

    Swap the order

    /use 10
    /Cast Conflagrate

Your /cast is triggering a GCD across all things.

Just a suggestion the way I use my gloves is to macro it into a spell that has a cast time and I put it just prior to the cast IE:
    #showtooltip Vampiric touch
    /use 10
    /cast berserking
    /cast Vampiric touch

Seems to work fine for me not sure if its bugging out cause the gloves come during the GCD caused by conflag. Meh. My thoughts.

    Edit: ^he covered it

Conflagrate creates a GCD(ofc), if the gloves are on the GCD(don't know that) they will fail at casting/using by your attempt to use them under the GCD. Don't know any workaround...
/cast sequence maybe? Ofc, correct me if i'm wrong!

You cannot use items while the GCD is active, even if they do not trigger the GCD themselves. See Gherkin's post, that is the workaround.

Well, i just tested this : I used felarmor wich triggers the GCD but i could use my gloves in that second od GCD

It might be your cast sequence

    Immolate --> Macro
    vs
Immolate --> Anything else, or wait .3 seconds --> Macro

If Conflag fails to cast because Immolate is not up, there might be a chance that it is stopping the macro from proceeding to the next step.

Regardless, the fix is the same. All non-spells, buffs, procs, trinkets, etc first, all spells second.

    Re: Engineering haste gloves

It's the law of simultaneous events. If you hit a GCD ability then a non-GCD ability with even a .0001 delay then it will work, but if you cast them at the same exact time, but the game is told that the GCD ability comes first then it bugs. Basically, Bliz coding is funny. Either just put trinkets and stuff first, if you do it the other way around then they would cast without the benefit of whatever else you're using. Blizz hasn't fixed it because it would cause other issues like allowing you to macro multiple GCD bound abilities together and having both cast simultaneously.
