Healing Rain (level 83): An area-effect heal-over-time (HoT) spell that calls down rain in a selected area, healing all players within it. There is no limit to the number of players who can potentially be affected; however, there are diminishing returns when healing a large number of targets, much like the diminishing returns associated with AoE damage spells. This should give Restoration shaman another healing tool that improves their group-healing and heal-over-time capabilities. 2-second cast time. 30-yard range. 10-second duration. 10-second cooldown.
Awesome! I always thought Shamans should have some kind of Rain spell![]()
healing while running..nomnomnom
earthquake nomnomnom
zug zug
what is it paladin, one zug is not enough for ya?
healing rain ^^
I hope this will bring us back to number 1 AoE healers
hate being topped by (some (good)) holy paladins at fights with loads of AoE damage
+ try to imagine healing rain combined with Ancestral awakening
maybe stop stacking haste? hello crit gems![]()
Way to go throwing the "OP" hammer when the first MAYBE-changes are released before hearing anything else. Jumping to conclusions much? T_T
The idea is to make you situationally decide how large of a heal to use, because mana will evidently be not so easily regenerated in Cataclysm.Originally Posted by zaneosak

no one huntars like gaston
I came a bit
Looks pretty sweet! Can't wait for other classes.![]()
Little something I picked up at BFBC2 forums.
when i saw
Flametongue Weapon – Deals instant Fire damage and buffs the shaman's next Fire attack by 20%
i thought ... oh joy even bigger lava burst damage
then i read
Elemental Overload: Your direct-damage spells have a chance to proc a less powerful 'bonus" version of the spell. This will work much like the current Lightning Overload talent, but would also apply to Lava Burst
then it was a facepalm... i guess shammy's will be able to one shot every thing with PVP gear on too then
Ðeadpool - level 80 human warlock
Thecorrupted - level 80 dwarf protadin
zabanya - level 80 draenei huntard
Greed - level 80 death knight
Dynames - level 80 orc warrior
Maggotbreath- level 80 undead rogue
Can I just say
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE ESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
That will be all.
The whole "While running" thing is 10 seconds every 2 minutes, for most current fights you have to move more often than that, so not really over powered.
Look like a lot of decent additions for Shamans though, now to wait for the other two classes today![]()
sounds fun, wating for paladins
I think the idea is that they want to give shamans an efficient middle-of-the-road heal, in addition to an inefficient fast small heal and an inefficient slow giant heal. They want healers to have to make more choices about what heal to use in any given situation.Originally Posted by zaneosak

This is just a BASIC overview.
Plus... they did say everyone's health is going to increase by 300% at 85.
So, seeing how Druids and their HoTs turned out in WotLk, they give Shaman a raidwide HoT (with diminishing)
Which, depending on the situation, may vary from overpowered to entirely useless.
Yeah, seems like they learned their lesson, NOT...
