How do I get better dps?!?!

I have played wow for a long time, since the 1st day, i have retired my mains and made a shammy for Lich, i love the resto and ele game play but my ele isnt what i think it should be my dps is in the high 4.7-5.5k dps , i use the CD rotation of FS, LvB CL LB and from there work of CDs,and i think i should be doing more. Might want to try upping your hit rating 8% don't cut it for elemental. You need 17% hit overall to be capped. Moar spells hitting=higher dps.

Bothering to read the FAQ and other sticky posts that specifically say don't post your armoury and whine for help if you haven't read the FAQ, would be a good start. Locking yet another post from the clueless.
