Do you want improved race models?

I like the current models and I understand the aspect of certain players complaining that they did not want a model change, but don't deprive the rest of us from it just because the minority are so stuck in their ways. Perhaps a "Rose Tinted Spectacles" option on the display menu to revert all models back to normal? Or maybe a clumsy dev could just fall and simultaneously highlight all the old folders and then hit delete with his nose :.

To my knowledge, all the graphically demanding is clientside. Serverside things is calculation of events. Like Mob A standing at location B Does C and thus D happening in the world.
Long story short, purely graphic improvements should to my knowledge only be an issue client side. I'm no expert though.

While a revamp would be nice id rather them spend time on actual changes and not just aesthetic changes.

A total revamp would indeed be great, but as stated above, I'd rather get a bunch of new content than just new models.
But if Blizz would hire just 5-10 ppl dedicated to creating new character models, I'd be happy

I rather want to hit something ugly and be pretty than reverse. The zones will still look nice.

theres a few things i would enjoy revamped

1. tauren shoulder armor: not complaining about the size, i thoroughly enjoy being bigger then any other playable race, that's a plus, the main issue i have is for example, my idle stance, where he gives a sign, the shoulder pad goes through his face, swinging also an issue, if the shoulders had a physical impact ring around it, my face would have been carved years ago

now this next one isnt really a cosmetic revamp, but i would like my passive skills as a tank not include a herbilizim boost <.<

I'd be happy if the older races would be brought on pair with Draenei and Blood Elves. The models being added to important NPCs look great, and I'd love if those were added for the playable races, though it's nice that they're so easy to see from other NPCs and players.

EDIT: Also, Tauren =/= Taunka.

I'd probably cry if my druid looked like a Taunka. The Tauren picture in this quote would be infinitely excellent however.

I'm voting for just a quality increase. I wouldn't expect a revamp until WoW 2, if that ever happens. Plus pushing harder graphics would slow down the servers/other people's computers/maybe my computer, and that's never worth a "pretty" change. Remember the opening of the gates for AQ20/AQ40? NEVER AGAIN PLEASE!

New models (or even skins!) are oh so wanted, Sylvanas is one of the best models I've seen ingame and I would love my Night Elf to look similar.
